Lagos Youth Awards (LYA) is an excellence celebrating project inspired to honor young people who have been outstanding in different fields of endeavor in Africa’s fastest growing mega city.
Over the years, Lagos has grown into an industrial hub, the economic nerve center of Nigeria, the continental entertainment capital and indeed the city which gives hope to everyone who find themselves in it. In all these, young people have taken an exceptional role which has continually been ignored by the establishment. The Lagos Youth Awards is a concept of BBN360, a thriving media company managed by young persons and based in Lagos in conjunction with other Lagos based youth organisations.
In 2021, we held the inaugural edition at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, as a tribute to exceptional young individuals in our renowned center of excellence. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of over 250 guests and garnered media coverage from 15 prominent media outlets. Last year, the event was hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja. Anticipated to attract a gathering of 500 attendees this year, the occasion aims to secure media presence from a minimum of 30 media organizations, ensuring comprehensive media exposure from all angles.

Tagged ‘The Age of Innovators’, this year’s edition will celebrate the bold, transformative, and boundary-pushing spirit of those who dare to challenge the status quo. By embracing this theme, we recognize the power of innovation to reshape industries, solve pressing global challenges, and create a better future for all. Through this event, we aim to inspire, connect, and empower innovators, fostering an environment where revolutionary ideas can thrive and shape the world, we live in. The ceremony will not only recognize their outstanding contributions but also inspire and encourage others to embrace their own potential for innovation and change.
